Welcome to Planken Wambuisweg! This moderate 5.869 kilometers circular hiking route offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the beauty of the area.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area nearby, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. About 1.09 kilometers into the hike, you will find a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy some snacks.

Further along the trail, at around 0.86 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an archaeological site, offering a glimpse into the area's rich history. Additionally, there is an information point located at 1.09 kilometers, providing insights into the surrounding nature and landmarks.

As you continue your journey, you will reach a viewpoint at 1.85 kilometers, known as Valenberg, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. At 2.93 kilometers, another viewpoint awaits, allowing you to soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Towards the end of the hike, at 1.2 kilometers from the start, you will find another picnic site, perfect for a relaxing break before completing the loop.

While the elevation gain is minimal, it is recommended to bring an ample water supply, especially on warm days. Checking the weather forecast before heading out is also advisable to ensure a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.
