Welcome to the hiking route in Risnjak National Park. This moderate 5.95 kilometers long trail with an elevation gain of 227 meters will take you through stunning alpine landscapes.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the trailhead, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Just a short distance from the start, you will find a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Continuing along the trail, you will pass by a bench where you can rest and take in the beautiful views. Further ahead, at a distance of 2.98 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Risnjak alpine hut, a cozy accommodation option nestled in the mountains. This is a perfect spot to recharge and refuel before heading back.

As you make your way back, you will encounter Pongračeva lugarnica, another alpine hut offering a unique and tranquil setting for hikers to explore. Along the trail, you will also find a drinking water point to fill up your water bottles and stay hydrated.
