This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning peak of El Gamoniteiru. The trail covers a distance of approximately 11.1 kilometers with an elevation gain of 607 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting at the parking area, the trail leads you through the picturesque surroundings, with opportunities to refill your water bottles at the Fonchante drinking water point around the 2.94-kilometer mark. As you venture further, you will come across the scenic Ḷḷagu Cueva at around 4.48 kilometers into the hike, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the natural beauty.

Continuing onwards, you'll pass by the attraction known as "arcu" at 4.82 kilometers, adding a touch of cultural interest to your journey. Midway through the hike, at 5.57 kilometers, you will reach the impressive El Gamoniteiru peak, offering panoramic views as a reward for your efforts.

On the way back, consider stopping at the Area recreativa Alba picnic site located at the trailhead, around the 0.0-kilometer mark, for a well-deserved rest and perhaps a snack.
