This challenging out-and-back hiking route covers a distance of 8.755 kilometers with an elevation gain of 36 meters, taking approximately 2 hours and 6 minutes to complete. The trail is located in a picturesque area with beautiful natural surroundings.

Along the route, hikers will come across various points of interest. About 4.38 kilometers from the start, there is a Fontaine (water source) located off the trail. At the same distance, there is also a Lavoir (shelter) conveniently situated right on the trail. Further along the trail at the same distance, hikers will find the Réserve Incendie (Fire Reserve).

For those looking to stay overnight, there are two camping sites nearby. The Camping du Paquilot is located only 0.21 kilometers from the trail, while the Camping de La Vaivre is just 0.07 kilometers away, making them easily accessible for hikers.

Additionally, there are facilities such as a Memorial and Wayside Cross located about 4.38 kilometers from the start, adding a historical touch to the hike. A fountain can also be found at the same distance, providing a refreshing stop for hikers.
