This challenging hiking route takes you through the beautiful landscape of the Ochsenweg area. The trail is 7.698 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 536 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Hanneslabauer biergarten, a perfect spot to grab a refreshing drink before setting off. About 1.33 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Partnachalm restaurant, where you can refuel with a hearty meal.
Further along the trail at approximately 3.39 kilometers, you'll find the Bayernhaus restaurant, offering limited wheelchair access and a chance to rest and recharge. If you're looking for accommodation, the AGV Drehmöser Hutte alpine hut is located about 3.61 kilometers into the hike, providing a cozy place to spend the night.
On your way back, be sure to stop by the Klammhaus restaurant at 0.06 kilometers from the start for another dining option. As you near the end of the trail, you can relax at the Hanneslabauer cafe, located 0.42 kilometers from the start.
Throughout the hike, you'll also encounter various points of interest such as information points, water sources, shelters, and even a waterfall, adding to the excitement of the journey.
