Hiking : Via normale Punta Taiola

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding "Via normale Punta Taiola". The trail is 9.152 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1178 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is estimated to take approximately 5 hours to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a wayside shrine just 0.61 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 3.21 kilometers, you will find the Rifugio San Marco, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views. At the same distance, there is also the peak known as Col de Chi de Os, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape.

As you continue on, you will encounter an information point and another wayside shrine at 3.23 kilometers. A little further, at 3.52 kilometers, there is a drinking water facility to refill your water bottle. For a quick rest, you can visit the picnic site located right at the start of the trail.

Towards the end of the route, at 4.58 kilometers, you will reach Forcella Grande, a saddle where you can take in the breathtaking sights before heading back. Additionally, there is a restaurant called Trattoria La Scaletta, perfect for a meal after a long hike.
