This 10.489-kilometer out-and-back trail is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural surroundings. The route is rated as extremely difficult due to its length of 10.489 kilometers and elevation gain of 1216 meters, so hikers should be prepared for a challenging trek.
As you start your hike, you will come across a wayside shrine located 0.61 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will also find a bench 0.61 kilometers from the start where you can take a rest. As you continue, at 3.21 kilometers from the start, you will reach Rifugio San Marco, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the mountain views.
Further along the trail, at 3.21 kilometers from the start, you will find Col de Chi de Os, a peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Make sure to stop by Forcella Grande, a saddle located 4.66 kilometers from the start, where you can take in the beauty of the natural surroundings.
Throughout the hike, there are various facilities available for hikers, including drinking water stations at 3.52 kilometers from the start and informative signposts at 3.23 and 4.78 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
