Continuing on, at around 1.1 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Eckenlauh viewpoint, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the way, you will also find a kiosk with maps of the military training area at a distance of 0.94 kilometers from the start. This can be a great place to learn more about the history and geography of the region. Additionally, there are benches around the 0.94 kilometers mark for a quick rest and a parking area at the trailhead for your convenience.
