Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area, about 1.42 kilometers from the start, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. As you continue on, at around 1.3 kilometers from the start, you will come across the historic Fort inférieur, a noteworthy site to explore and learn about.

Further along the trail, at about 1.18 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the entrance to the intriguing Grotte de la Bouna, a cave worth checking out if you're up for a little adventure. As you approach the 2 kilometer mark, there are a couple of water points where you can rest and replenish your water supply.
