Welcome to the Gangsteig hiking route! This picturesque circular trail offers a 3.138 kilometers long journey with an elevation gain of 201 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you'll begin your adventure surrounded by lush greenery. As you make your way along the trail, approximately 0.77 kilometers in, you'll come across a tranquil water feature, providing a perfect spot to rest and take in the peaceful surroundings.
Continuing onwards, at about 1.5 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter the stunning viewpoints of the area, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the landscape. Make sure to stop and capture the beauty of the natural scenery.
Around the same point, you'll also discover the Waldbachstrub waterfall, adding a touch of serenity to your hiking experience. The sound of cascading water creates a soothing ambiance, perfect for a moment of tranquility.
