This hiking route in the area of La Rossa is a challenging one, with a total distance of 16.697 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1148 meters, making it extremely difficult. It is an out-and-back trail that will take approximately 6 hours and 44 minutes to complete.
Starting at Ponte Campo, where there is a paid parking area available, hikers will begin their journey. Along the way, they will pass by Passo di Valtendra, a saddle located 8.35 kilometers from the start of the trail. This spot offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area but is not directly on the trail.
At the 8.35-kilometer mark, hikers will also come across a water source, providing a refreshing break before continuing on. There are additional parking areas along the trail, with some requiring a fee for usage.
