Welcome to the hiking route along Chemin de Taney!
Chemin de Taney is a moderate difficulty out-and-back trail with a total distance of 4.114 kilometers and an elevation gain of 357 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.
The trail starts at a parking area just 90 meters away from the beginning of the route. As you begin the hike, you will come across benches and information points along the way. These provide a great opportunity to take a rest and learn more about the surrounding area.
Around the midway point of the trail, at 2.06 kilometers from the start, you will find a beautiful alpine hut called Refuge La Vouivre. This is a perfect spot to stop and enjoy the stunning scenery while refueling for the return journey.
Further along the trail, at 1.99 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach another information point named Taney. This is a great place to gather more information about the area and its history.
At the end of the trail, you will reach Col de Taney, a saddle point with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, you can also find restaurants and cafes to relax and replenish your energy after the hike.
