This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful Fischteich area. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of approximately 7.8 kilometers with no elevation gain. Starting at the Rheindeltahaus, you will pass by various points of interest along the way.
As you begin your hike, you will come across Fränzle's cafe, located at a distance of 0.43 kilometers from the starting point. Further along the trail, at 1.47 kilometers, you will find a shelter at which you can take a break if needed. Continuing on, you will pass by the Fischerheim restaurant at 3.02 kilometers into the hike, offering a good spot to refuel.
Throughout the hike, you will encounter several water points such as Schleienloch at 3.02 kilometers and another water spot at 3.19 kilometers. Additionally, there are benches for resting along the trail, with some found at the 3.15 and 3.02-kilometer marks.
Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike.
