Welcome to the Route du Raché hiking trail! This challenging out-and-back route spans a distance of 14.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 321 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.

Starting at the parking area, the trail begins with an information point about the Voie d'Arles. As you make your way towards the trail, you will pass by the archaeological site of Encorbellement du Mail de Couret, offering a glimpse into the historic past of the area.

During the hike, you will encounter several water sources, some closer to the beginning like the one at 0.58 kilometers, while others are scattered throughout the trail. Be sure to refill your water bottles whenever possible to stay hydrated during your journey.

Further along the trail, at around 4.6 kilometers, you will reach Col d'Ichère, a saddle providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take a moment to rest and appreciate the beauty of the area before continuing your hike.

As you approach the midway point, you will come across the Grotte de L'Espalungue cave entrance at 2.82 kilometers. Nearby, the Cascade supérieure de l'Espalungue and Cascade inférieure de l'Espalungue waterfalls offer a refreshing stop and a perfect photo opportunity.

With challenging terrain and varied points of interest, including water sources, historical sites, and natural landmarks, the Route du Raché promises a fulfilling adventure for outdoor enthusiasts.
