This hiking route in the Ziegeleistraße area offers a 2.171-kilometer circular path that is rated as easy in difficulty, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. As you start the hike, you will come across the Parkplatz Museum KulturLand Ries parking area at the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will encounter several water sources such as springs and streams, providing a refreshing stop for hikers midway through the route.

Approximately 0.58 kilometers into the hike, you will find the ruins of Burgstall Maihingen, offering a glimpse into the historic past of the area. Continuing on, at 0.24 kilometers, you will reach the Bierkeller Maihingen, an attractive spot for a break and possibly some local refreshments.

At the 0.52-kilometer mark, the Klosterberg peak stands as a prominent natural feature, although slightly off the main trail. Another interesting point of interest along the route is the picnic site located at 0.98 kilometers, perfect for a rest and enjoying the surroundings.
