This hiking route will take you to the majestic Monte Robinet, located in the scenic Alpine region. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of 15.803 kilometers with an elevation gain of 789 meters, making it extremely challenging and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you embark on your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Bivacco Jouglard, a shelter facility where you can rest and take in the surrounding natural beauty. Further along, at a distance of 1.28 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Fontana del Rabiè, a picturesque fountain perfect for refilling your water supply. Additionally, at 1.28 kilometers into the hike, there is a drinking water point located nearby.
Midway through the trail, approximately 3.49 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Lago Laus, offering a serene setting to pause and admire the tranquil lake. Nearby, at 3.53 kilometers, lies the Bivacco lago Laus, a wilderness hut providing a unique accommodation experience in the wilderness.
As you continue your ascent towards Monte Robinet, you will pass by the Bivacco Madonna degli Angeli at 7.9 kilometers from the start, offering another shelter option for hikers. Additionally, at 7.08 kilometers, there is the Source N3 du Mont Robinet, a natural spring where you can replenish your water bottles.
Finally, reaching the summit of Monte Robinet at 7.9 kilometers, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the nearby peak of Monte Glautin.
