Welcome to the Monte Robinet hiking route, a challenging and rewarding trek located in the beautiful alpine region.
As you embark on this 15.8-kilometer out-and-back journey, be prepared to encounter stunning natural landscapes and a variety of points of interest along the way.
At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the Bivacco Jouglard shelter, offering a place to rest and take in the surrounding scenery. Further on, you will reach the Fontana del Rabiè fountain and several drinking water points to refill your water supply.
Midway through the hike, you will find the picturesque Lago Laus, a perfect spot to pause and admire the tranquil waters. Nearby, the Bivacco lago Laus wilderness hut provides an opportunity for a longer break or overnight stay.
As you continue your ascent, you will encounter the Rifugio Selleries alpine hut, offering accommodation and services for hikers. The route also includes points of interest like La Manica water source, Bivacco Madonna degli Angeli shelter, and the Source-du-Lago-Laus spring.
Towards the end of the trail, you will reach the Colletto Robinet saddle and the summit of Monte Robinet, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
With a total elevation gain of 789 meters, this extremely difficult hike is best suited for experienced hikers who are prepared for a strenuous workout. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
