This hiking route is a super easy circular trail with a total distance of 1.919 kilometers and no significant elevation gain. Starting at the Rundweg destination, hikers will find themselves in a beautiful natural area surrounded by benches for resting and enjoying the scenery.
As you begin your journey, you will come across the Parkplatz Parkhotel Steiger parking area just 0.01 kilometers from the start. The trail then leads you to various benches scattered along the path, perfect for taking breaks or having a picnic. Approximately 0.68 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a waterfall and an informative sign about the Kernzonengrenze.
Further along the trail, at around 0.81 kilometers, you will find a milestone and an informational sign for the Lehrpfad Hohnstein. Throughout the hike, there are parking areas available for those driving to the trailhead, with some offering free parking.
