This hiking route takes you through a scenic area with beautiful natural surroundings. The trail is super easy, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels. The total distance of the route is approximately 1.9 kilometers with no significant elevation gain.
As you start your hike, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Parkplatz Parkhotel Steiger, a parking area for your convenience. Further along, you will encounter several benches where you can rest and take in the views of the area.
About midway through the hike, you will reach a waterfall, adding a touch of tranquility to your nature experience. As you continue on, you will also pass by informational points such as the Kernzonengrenze and the Lehrpfad Hohnstein.
Throughout the trail, there are additional benches and parking areas available for hikers. It is recommended to bring an adequate supply of water and to check the weather forecast before embarking on the hike. The circular route ensures that you will end up back at your starting point, completing a fulfilling outdoor adventure.
