This difficult 9.6-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the majestic Puig de Lliurella, offering breathtaking views and a challenging adventure.
Starting from the parking area, you will embark on your journey, passing by the refreshing water sources at 0.2 kilometers from the trail. Make sure to refill your water bottles before continuing your ascent. As you trek further, at 0.2 kilometers from the start, you will come across another water source to hydrate yourself.
At around 0.56 kilometers from the start, you will find Les Hortes, an information point where you can learn more about the area and its history. Continuing on the trail, at 2.86 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint called Santuari de la Mare de Déu de la Devesa, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, at 4.81 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Puig de Lliurella, where you can take in the incredible vistas that stretch as far as the eye can see. This is a perfect spot to rest and have a snack while enjoying the scenery.
On your way back, make sure to stop by Restaurant Basalt and Cal Ganxo at 0.13 and 0.2 kilometers from the start respectively, to replenish your energy with some delicious local cuisine.
