As you start your hike, you will come across the Oberer Giglachsee, a picturesque alpine lake just 7.7 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the route, at 10.44 kilometers from the start, you will find another beautiful water feature. While the trail offers parking options midway at 10.6 kilometers, you can also stop for a refreshing drink or meal at Moarhof Alm, a restaurant located at 13.97 kilometers into the hike.
For a quick rest and to refill your water supply, a spring is conveniently located at 6.28 kilometers from the start. Additionally, you can take a break at the Giglachsee Hütte, an alpine hut situated at 7.98 kilometers from the beginning.
