This challenging hiking route takes you through the stunning wilderness of the Pays-de-Foix area, leading you to the peak of Rocher de Batail. The total distance of the hike is approximately 7.99 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 451 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Cabane de la Devèze wilderness hut, located 1.38 kilometers from the trailhead. This non-guarded hut provides a rustic shelter for hikers looking to take a break or spend the night in the wilderness.

Continuing along the trail, you will pass by Cabane Col Mazel - barguillere, situated 0.1 kilometers away from the start. This wilderness hut offers a picturesque spot to rest and admire the surrounding nature.
