This hiking route will take you through a challenging terrain with a total distance of 25.424 kilometers and an elevation gain of 2204 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike. The route is an out-and-back trail that leads to the peak of Rieberg.
Starting at the parking area, which is wheelchair accessible and free of charge, you will begin your journey towards the peak. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the Dreizehntenhorn peak located 11.08 kilometers from the start. This natural beauty offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing on, you will pass by the Schwarzhorn peak at 10.32 kilometers from the start.
As you make your way up the trail, you will encounter Augstbordpass and Ginalspass saddles, each offering a unique vantage point of the area. Additionally, there are informational points along the route to provide insights into the local flora, fauna, and history.
At the end of the trail, you will reach the Rieberg peak, which stands at 12.71 kilometers from the start. Here, you can take in panoramic views of the region before heading back along the same path.
