This extremely difficult 12.834-kilometer circular hiking route will lead you through the picturesque area surrounding Kalter See. The trail starts at the parking area near Hermann´s Würstelstand, where you can grab a quick bite before embarking on your journey. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across Fischerkapelle, a historic wayside shrine located approximately 3.73 kilometers from the start.

Throughout the hike, you'll encounter several benches and information points where you can take a break and learn more about the area. Be sure to stop by the Wiesenkapelle and the Herz-Mariae-Kapelle, two more historic shrines along the trail.

About 6.15 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Kalter See, a beautiful natural water feature where you can rest and enjoy the serene surroundings. There are also shelters along the trail, such as Gasthof Neurauter, where you can seek refuge if needed.
