This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of Flüewald - Gelbbergstrasse. The trail spans a total distance of 12.697 kilometers with an elevation gain of 924.0 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding adventure.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Rossweidhöchi saddle at around 5.52 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This natural feature provides a scenic viewpoint and a great spot to take a breather. Continuing onwards, at 0.95 kilometers in, you will find a drinking water source, perfect for refilling your supplies.

Around 1.17 kilometers into the hike, the Höchegg peak offers stunning panoramic views, although it's slightly off the main trail. Further along at 1.63 kilometers, you'll encounter an information point along with a bench to rest at. The trail also passes by various rock formations, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Halfway through the hike, at 6.32 kilometers, you will reach another information point called Flüewald. This is a great spot to learn more about the area and its surroundings. Additionally, make sure to explore the various rock formations at different points along the trail, adding an extra element of excitement to your hike.

It is essential to bring an ample water supply and snacks, as this challenging route will test your endurance.
