This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Wuhrsteinalm in Germany. The trail is a circular route, starting at the Talstation Geigelstein parking area. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before embarking on this 7.2-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 486 meters.

As you begin your hike, you will come across the Griesselberg-Rundweg information point, where you can learn more about the area. Along the way, you will pass by the Wuhrsteinalm restaurant and alpine hut, a perfect spot to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a rest.

After about 3 kilometers, you will find the Kontrollstelle Wuhrstein information point and benches to relax on. As you continue on, you will encounter several historic memorials such as Bertl Bauer, Joh. Hacker, and Simon Pletschacher.

Towards the end of the hike, approximately 2 kilometers from the starting point, you will reach a wayside cross. The trail offers a moderate difficulty level due to its length and elevation gain, so make sure you are prepared for a challenging yet rewarding trek.
