As you start your journey, you will pass by the Talstation Geigelstein parking area, which is located right at the beginning of the trail. About 3.52 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Wuhrsteinalm restaurant and alpine hut, where you can take a break and refuel. Further along the trail, at about 3.51 kilometers in, you will come across the Kontrollstelle Wuhrstein information point.

Along the way, you will also encounter several points of interest, such as the Griesselberg-Rundweg information point at 0.63 kilometers in, benches for resting at various points, and memorials like Bertl Bauer and Joh. Hacker at 3.43 and 1.52 kilometers into the hike, respectively.
