This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through the stunning area around Poggio Lei. The trail spans a distance of 12.65 kilometers with an elevation gain of 288 meters, making it a challenging yet rewarding journey that will take approximately 3 hours and 38 minutes to complete.

As you start your adventure, you will come across an informative signboard at the beginning of the trail providing essential information about the area. Make sure to stop by the drinking water facility early on to stay hydrated throughout your hike.

About 1.13 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a picturesque water spot where you can take a moment to enjoy the serene surroundings before continuing on your way. Further along the trail, at around 5.41 kilometers, you'll encounter the Mini capitello Madonna con Gesù bambino wayside shrine, a historical gem that adds cultural richness to the journey.

As you approach the halfway point of the hike, at approximately 6.33 kilometers, you will reach the stunning peak of Poggio Lei. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views from this vantage point before visiting the nearby bench to rest and recharge.

Continuing on, at 5.96 kilometers, you will find the Madonnina wayside shrine and a scenic viewpoint that offers another opportunity to admire the beauty of the area. Be sure to capture some memorable photos here.

Towards the end of the trail, you'll pass by the Antiteatro sul lago information point, where you can learn more about the natural and cultural significance of the region.
