This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through the scenic area surrounding Rotstockseeli. With a total distance of 13.742 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1260 meters, this challenging adventure is not for the faint of heart.
Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. Approximately 6.06 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Panixerpasshütte, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. This is also where you will find the Panixerpass / Pass dil Veptga saddle, offering stunning views of the surrounding natural landscape.
As you continue on, you will encounter the Rotstockseeli and Häxenseeli, two beautiful bodies of water perfect for a rest stop. Remember to refill your water bottles at the nearby drinking water point located 2.33 kilometers from the start.
Further along the trail, at approximately 5.28 kilometers from the start, you will find a refreshing spring to quench your thirst. Additionally, there are camping sites and parking areas scattered throughout the route for your convenience.
