This extremely difficult circular hiking route in the Yuen Long District offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. The 15.945-kilometer trail includes a total elevation gain of 493 meters and is estimated to take around 4 hours and 55 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area located just 0.05 kilometers from the trailhead, hikers will first encounter a shelter 0.16 kilometers into the hike. As you venture further along the trail, you'll come across various water features, including several water bodies situated at distances ranging from 6.22 to 7.82 kilometers from the start. These water points provide a refreshing stop for rest and relaxation.
Additionally, at the 2.52-kilometer mark, you'll find the peak of West Kengwei Shan, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
