This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with varying landscapes and historical landmarks. The trail is 14.537 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 333 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across points of interest such as a parking area and ruins within the first kilometer. Further along the trail, at around 0.83 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the 2. Kavacsos (Alsó-hegyi zsombolyos tanösvény), where you can learn about the area's geological formations.
Around 1.76 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Pályi-kút spring, offering a refreshing stop to refill your water bottles. Nearby, at the same distance, you will find the Macskatemplom and Pályi-kút information point.
Continuing on, at approximately 2.07 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the Márványbánya and Kőfaragó site, where you can explore the remains of a marble quarry.
As you progress through the trail, you will come across several caves and cave entrances, with some located closer to the end of the hike. These include the Jóbarát-zsomboly at 3.31 kilometers, the Komjáti jég-zsomboly at 4.78 kilometers, and the Töltényes-zsomboly at 4.88 kilometers.
