This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Goat Mountain. The trail starts near a parking area and a fast food spot called Beaver Tails, so you can grab a snack before you begin your adventure. As you hike along, you'll pass by the Grizzly Bear Habitat, which is wheelchair accessible and located about 0.14 kilometers from the start.
Further along the trail, at a distance of 1.69 kilometers from the start, you'll find Dam Mountain, a prominent peak in the area. While it's not directly on the trail, it offers a great view if you're up for a side trip. Continuing on, you'll reach Goat Mountain at around 3.12 kilometers from the starting point, where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the Little Goat Mountain, which is located about 2.24 kilometers from the start and offers a more secluded viewpoint. Before ending your hike, take a break at the Rusty Rail Outdoor B.B.Q. & Beer Garden, located at the beginning of the trail, to refuel and relax.
