Welcome to the hiking route to Girenspitz!

This challenging out-and-back trail covers a distance of 8.71 kilometers with an elevation gain of 436 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. The route will take approximately 3 hours and 6 minutes to complete, so be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for the journey.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Saysersee lake around the 4.36 kilometer mark, providing a picturesque spot for a rest. Further along the trail, at the 0.02 kilometer mark, you will find the Bergrestaurant Stams where you can refuel with some delicious mountain cuisine.

As you continue on, you'll reach the peak of Girenspitz at the 4.36 kilometer mark, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Further ahead, at the 3.22 kilometer mark, you'll encounter the peak of Hana, followed by the informative stop at Sunntigberg at the 1.71 kilometer mark.

Throughout the hike, be sure to check the forecast before heading out as weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains. Additionally, it's important to stay on the designated trail and be prepared for steep inclines and rocky terrain.
