Welcome to the hiking route to Sziklák! This moderate 6.645-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the area.

Starting at the parking area, you will embark on your adventure, passing by the Jóska Spring at around 3.28 kilometers into the hike, where you can replenish your water supply. As you continue, you will encounter the impressive Perlit Rock formations, including the Perlit Towers and Perlit Tower, adding a unique touch to your journey.

Around 2.08 kilometers in, you will find a picturesque picnic site, perfect for a rest stop or enjoying a packed lunch while taking in the stunning surroundings. Further along the trail, at 3.18 kilometers, you will come across more fascinating rock formations known as Sziklák.

Throughout the hike, you will also encounter various facilities such as benches, information points, and even a restaurant called Zempléni Pitvaros Pihenő, offering a chance to refuel and relax before heading back.

With an elevation gain of 66 meters, this hike is suitable for hikers of moderate experience levels. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
