This challenging 10.469-kilometer long hike will take you around the stunning Puy du Montôt area. The trail starts at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this adventure.

About 0.31 kilometers from the start, you will come across a water feature which can be a nice spot to rest and rehydrate. Moving along the path, at around 0.43 kilometers, you will find a campsite where you can pitch a tent and spend a night under the stars.

As you continue onwards, approximately 2.45 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter another campsite for those looking for a longer stay. Midway through the trail at 4.91 kilometers, you will find three historic wayside crosses that add cultural significance to the journey.

Almost at the end of the hike, at 4.91 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Puy du Montôt, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Be prepared for a difficult hike with 101 meters of elevation gain throughout the trail. Make sure to bring enough water, snacks, and wear appropriate hiking gear.
