This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the beautiful Balsa del Roble area, known for its historic ruins and natural water features. The trail spans a distance of 11.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 372 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

Starting at the parking area located at the trailhead, you will journey through a picturesque landscape, passing by drinking water facilities at 1.58 kilometers into the hike. As you continue, you'll encounter the historic ruins situated 1.24 kilometers from the start, offering a glimpse into the area's past.

Midway through the hike, at around 5.75 kilometers, you will reach the stunning Balsa del Roble, a natural water feature surrounded by lush greenery. It's a perfect spot to rest and take in the peaceful surroundings before heading back.
