This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Le Hameau de Barboron - Route des Chaumes. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 7.093 kilometers with an elevation gain of 175 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

You will start your journey at Place de la Gare, a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the route, you will come across a shelter around midway through your hike, providing a nice resting spot to take in the surroundings.

About 3.55 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a water source where you can refill your water bottles and take a break. If you're looking for a place to grab a meal or a drink after your hike, La Grappe de Pernand offers both a bar and a restaurant with delicious options to refuel.

For those interested in history, there is a memorial located near the trail, approximately at the beginning, that you can explore.
