Welcome to Cañada Real de Trevélez! This hiking route is a challenging 7.263-kilometer circular trail with an elevation gain of 528 meters, taking approximately 3 hours to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Along the way, at a distance of 3.35 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a stunning viewpoint offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, at a distance of 0.36 kilometers from the start, you will find an informational point where you can learn more about the area's history and ecosystem. If you're in need of a break and some rest, Refugio Postero Alto, an alpine hut located at the beginning of the trail, offers accommodation and facilities for weary hikers.

Due to the length and elevation of the route, it is categorized as difficult, so make sure to come prepared with enough water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. It is also recommended to check the weather forecast before setting out on your adventure.
