This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Sur la passerelle - Rue des Forges. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 1.089 kilometers and an elevation gain of 36 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your hike, you will come across the historic building of Demeure de Maître de Forges just 0.01 kilometers from the trail. Further along the trail at 0.25 kilometers, you will find a natural water feature. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the waterfall at 0.31 kilometers into the hike.
Midway through the trail at 0.52 kilometers, you will reach Passerelle, a notable attraction in the area. Nearby, you can also explore Les pertes de l'Ain and an informative exhibition.
Towards the end of the hike, at 0.4 kilometers, you will encounter a fortified gate known as Porte Fortifiée. As you make your way back to the starting point, enjoy the various viewpoints along the trail that offer stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
