This extremely difficult 16.795 km circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area around Punta Rama. Make sure to pack plenty of water and check the weather forecast before you begin.
Starting at a parking area, you will first come across an information point at 1.1 km into the hike. As you continue, at 1.43 km, you will pass by the ruins of "Alpe in rovina" before reaching another set of ruins at 0.17 km.
Midway through your hike, at 5.41 km, you will find a refreshing spring to fill up your water supply. Further ahead at 6.29 km, you will pass by the peak of "Punta di Verzel" offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Heading towards the end of your journey, at 8.37 km, you will reach the peak of "Punta Rama" where you can take in panoramic views. Nearby, at the same distance, lies the wilderness hut "Bivacco Beltrando" for a well-deserved rest.
Completing the final stretch of the hike, at 5.43 km, you will find the Rifugio Fornetto, an alpine hut offering accommodation options. Finally, at 0.01 km from the start, there are drinking water sources available to quench your thirst.
