Welcome to the Chojnik hiking route!
Chojnik is a beautiful area known for its historic castle, Zamek Chojnik, which you will encounter on this hiking trail. The trail is a circular route with a distance of 3.247 kilometers and an elevation gain of 242 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the Chojnik parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. Along the way, you'll also pass by Przełęcz Żarska, a mountain pass, and Chojnik Peak, offering stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty.
Midway through the hike, you'll find various points of interest such as Płaski Kamień, a rock formation, and Źródełko Kunegundy, a natural spring. These spots are perfect for taking a break, enjoying a picnic, and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.
Further along the trail, you'll reach Karczma Chojnik, a restaurant where you can refuel with delicious local cuisine. As you continue, you'll encounter viewpoints like the one at Pręgierz and memorials such as the ones dedicated to historic cannons, adding a cultural touch to your hike.
Don't forget to check out Głazowisko, a rock formation, and Tito Pizza restaurant, where you can indulge in a tasty meal after completing the trail.
