This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding GC-65. The trail is 22.117 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 583 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will take around 6 hours and 34 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at 0.99 kilometers from the trailhead. It is recommended to park your vehicle here before embarking on the hike. Along the way, you will encounter several water sources, with the closest one being at 3.35 kilometers from the start. It is essential to stay hydrated, so make sure to refill your water bottles at these points.
Around 5.22 kilometers into the hike, you will find another water source, followed by a historical site of ruins at 10.88 kilometers. Take some time to explore the area and appreciate its significance. Additionally, there are cave entrances at 10.08 and 10.09 kilometers, as well as a viewpoint at 11.06 kilometers. These points of interest offer unique perspectives of the surroundings and are worth a visit.
As you continue on the trail, you will reach a saddle named Degollada del Tanque at 9.63 kilometers, followed by a peak called Punta del Sabinal at 9.73 kilometers. These landmarks provide panoramic views of the area and are perfect spots to take a break and rest before heading back.
