This hiking route takes you to the stunning area of Port de Saleix in D 8F. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 5.785 kilometers with an elevation gain of 578 meters, making it a difficult level hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Cabane de Coumebière, a charming shelter located right at the beginning of the trail. This can be a great spot to rest and enjoy the views before continuing on. Further along the path, about 0.44 kilometers from the start, you will find the Cabane Anè Labeilla, another shelter where you can take a break and soak in the surroundings.

As you trek onwards, you will encounter various points of interest such as Mont Garias, a peak located 2.89 kilometers from the starting point, and the ruins of an ancient site 2.23 kilometers into the hike. You will also pass by the picturesque Port de Saleix, a saddle point that marks the halfway point of the trail. Here, you can take in the breathtaking vistas and capture some memorable moments.

Throughout the hike, you will find convenient parking areas at the beginning and midway through the trail. Additionally, there are informational points along the way, providing insights into the natural surroundings and landmarks.
