This hiking route in the area of Il Trapezio is an extremely difficult but rewarding adventure for experienced hikers. The route is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 13.586 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1834 meters, taking approximately 7 hours and 43 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, you will embark on a challenging journey towards Il Trapezio peak. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Punto Info Val Genova, providing valuable information about the area.

As you continue, you will pass by Ponte Verde, another informational point, and a drinking water station for hikers to refill their supplies. Midway through the hike, you will reach Bivacco Roberti, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Further along the trail, you will encounter another drinking water station before reaching Passo 4 Cantoni, a saddle point offering stunning views of the landscape. Finally, after a challenging trek, you will reach the highlight of the hike - Il Trapezio peak, standing tall at 6.79 kilometers from the start.

It is essential to bring an ample water supply and pack necessary hiking gear for this demanding route. Make sure to check the weather forecast before heading out and take all safety precautions. This hike is not recommended for beginners due to its length and steep elevation.
