This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Rifugio Vallaccia. The trail is 7.891 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 599 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
Starting at the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you'll pass by several points of interest along the way. About 1.23 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across an information point and a bench for resting. As you continue, at 2.09 kilometers, you'll find a drinking water facility, perfect for refilling your water bottle.
At the 3.77 kilometer mark, slightly off the trail, there is a natural spring where you can take a refreshing break. Further along, at 3.95 kilometers, you'll reach Rifugio Vallaccia, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy some local cuisine.
On the way back, don't forget to stop by the wayside shrine at 1.66 kilometers and another bench at 1.4 kilometers for a quick rest. As you approach the end of the trail, there are more information points and benches where you can take in the scenery and learn about the area.
