This extremely difficult 12.079-kilometer circular hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Chemin du Lac Bersau - Chemin du Lac Bersau. With an elevation gain of 755 meters, this hike is sure to challenge even the most experienced hikers.
Starting at Parking de Bious-Oumettes, you'll embark on a journey that will lead you past several points of interest. Along the way, you'll come across Lac Gentau at around 5.55 kilometers from the start, followed by Lac du Miey at 5.14 kilometers. These beautiful lakes offer a serene spot to rest and take in the surrounding natural beauty.
Further along the trail, you'll encounter the Cabane de Roumassot around 4.88 kilometers from the start, providing a sheltered resting place for tired hikers. As you continue, you'll reach the Refuge d'Ayous at 5.87 kilometers, which serves as an alpine hut for those looking to spend the night in the wilderness.
