This hiking route in the Lohweg area is a super easy and scenic circular trail covering a distance of approximately 1.899 kilometers with no elevation gain. Before embarking on this hike, make sure to bring enough water and check the weather forecast.
As you start your journey, you will come across the "Place du Village" parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Further along, about 0.22 kilometers from the start, you will find the "Monument aux Morts" memorial, which is 147.5 meters off the trail.
Continuing on, at around 0.3 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surroundings. About halfway through the hike, at 0.94 kilometers from the start, you will reach the "Chapelle Saint-Morand (Lohkapala)" wayside shrine, which is only 8.5 meters away from the trail.
As you approach the end of the trail, around 0.94 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint with a distance of 11.4 meters from the trail. Nearby, there is another bench at a distance of 6.8 meters from the trail, perfect for taking in the beautiful views.
Throughout the hike, you will also pass by various points of interest such as the "Monument du 152e RI" memorial and the "Tombe de Baptiste Balouzet" memorial, both located close to the trail.
