Hiking : Wierch Muchów

This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 13.149-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 799 meters. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at Wierch Muchów.

The hike begins with a visit to Jazlerko, a beautiful water feature just 0.06 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you'll reach Poľana, an information point just 0.04 kilometers away, and then a picnic site at 0.13 kilometers.

Midway through the hike at 4.59 kilometers, you'll encounter Čierťaž / Czertez, a peak with stunning views. Further along the trail, at 5.29 kilometers, you'll find the A. P. Gladys 1944 memorial, a historic site worth exploring.

Towards the end of the hike, at 6.57 kilometers, you'll reach Wierch Muchów, another peak offering panoramic views. The trail also passes by Lúky pod Príkrym, an information point at 2.92 kilometers from the start.

It's important to note that there are facilities along the way, such as shelters and benches, to rest and take in the surroundings. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.
