Welcome to the Mist Trail hiking route in Yosemite National Park. This 5.993-kilometer moderate difficulty trail offers stunning views and beautiful natural attractions along the way.
Starting at the trailhead, hikers will pass by informative signposts about the area before reaching the first viewpoint, Sierra Point which is located 1.24 kilometers into the hike. Although not directly on the trail, this viewpoint offers a panoramic vista of the surrounding landscape.
Continuing along the trail, at around 2.51 kilometers from the start, hikers will be treated to the sight of Vernal Fall, a magnificent waterfall cascading down the rocks. Further along, at 2.62 kilometers, you'll find the Emerald Pool, followed shortly by the Silver Apron at 2.69 kilometers, both offering peaceful spots to rest and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
For those interested in further information, there are numerous informational signposts along the route, with the closest one being located at 0.39 kilometers from the start.
As you approach the turnaround point, Clark Point offers another impressive viewpoint at 3.0 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Please note that this part of the trail is not directly on the route.
