This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the breathtaking area of Piz de Lavarela. With a total distance of 12.291 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1390 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the Forcella de Medesc, a saddle located 4.41 kilometers from the start. Continuing on, at around 2.28 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information point with valuable insights about the area.

As you make your way towards Piz de Lavarela, you will encounter a bench and a wayside cross at 0.29 kilometers from the start, providing resting spots and historic charm. A bit further along the trail, at 1.19 kilometers, another information point awaits you, offering more knowledge about the surroundings.

During your journey, you will also find drinking water sources positioned at strategic points to keep you hydrated. Remember to bring an ample supply of water as this hike poses a significant challenge.

Upon reaching the peak of Piz de Lavarela at 6.15 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Take a moment to soak in the beauty before retracing your steps back to the trailhead.
