This hiking route will take you to Ngau Tam Shan, a peak in the area. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 4.458 kilometers with an elevation gain of 277 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
Starting the hike, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Be sure to bring enough water with you as there are two water points close to the trail, the first one just 30 meters away and the second one right on the trail. As you continue, you'll pass by a shelter about 370 meters from the start, offering a resting spot along the way.
Further along the trail, at a distance of 1.61 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter a peak, adding to the beautiful scenery of the hike. Be mindful of another peak around 1.38 kilometers from the start, although it's not directly on the trail. Be on the lookout for a point 2.23 kilometers into the hike that leads to a saddle, also off the main trail.
