This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural features and challenging terrain. The total distance of the route is 7.26 kilometers with an elevation gain of 535 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance and skill.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle securely before embarking on your journey. As you continue along the trail, you will pass by several water sources, including a water point at 0.03 kilometers from the start, another one at 1.1 kilometers away, and a third one at the trailhead itself.
One of the main highlights of this hike is reaching the peaks along the trail. At around 2.54 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a peak called 大羅天 Tai Lo Tin, followed by 龍潭山 peak at 3.01 kilometers, 羅天頂 Lo Tin Teng peak at 3.43 kilometers, and others. These peaks offer breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, providing a perfect place to take a rest and admire the beauty of nature.
After reaching the peaks, you will also come across saddle points along the trail at various locations. These spots offer a unique perspective of the terrain and are great places to take a break and refuel before continuing your hike.
