This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area surrounding Pic de Sarradé. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 21.869 kilometers and an elevation gain of 2155 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will test your endurance and stamina.
As you start your hike, you will come across Estany de Contraix, a picturesque lake located 9.26 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This serene spot offers a great place to take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Further along the trail, at around 3.08 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter another water feature, providing a refreshing sight as you continue your journey. Throughout the hike, you will pass by several other water sources, giving you ample opportunities to rest and rehydrate.
For nature enthusiasts, there are points of interest like Coll de Contraix, a saddle located 8.61 kilometers from the start, and Pic de Comalesbienes, a peak that can be found 3.85 kilometers into the hike.
As you approach the midway point of the hike, you will reach Coll Arenós, a saddle situated 4.41 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape before continuing on your adventure.
Towards the end of the hike, you will reach Coll de Sarradé, another saddle located 10.05 kilometers from the start, and Pic de Sarradé, a peak that marks the destination of your journey. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views as a rewarding end to your challenging hike.
